Cafe Sitaly is a cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant that has some great food and feels like a small-family owned place. Located on the corner of Naamans and Marsh, it's right at the intersection next to a couple other businesses. As mentioned, this is a small, cozy restaurant so you might accidentally miss it. Don't let that deter you though as this is a great place to eat. The restaurant is pretty small with just several tables for service but when I went on a Friday night it wasn't that crowded. There's a counter up front with pizza ready to go or be warmed up for service as well. This makes the atmosphere feel very much like a family restaurant and just as snug. Cafe Sitaly's menu is pretty much what you'd expect for an Italian restaurant with its different entrees, pastas, pizzas, etc. However the price is very good and the portions are generous for the price making this generally good value for your money. The service is also very attentive, with the waitstaff ensuring that you're taken care of and ensuring that your order is right. I also find them very personable and can answer questions you have about the menu and its offerings. For my meal there, I had the manicotti which is one of my favorite meatless dishes and also one many Italian places don't seem to serve. The manicotti comes with a salad and the one I got was nice and fresh and had plenty of veggies included. The bread that is served is a wedge rather than rolls or breadsticks. Despite the unusual shape, I very much enjoyed the roll and it works well with the pasta. The manicotti was very cheesy with a generous portion and plenty of cheese. It was certainly one of the best manicottis I've had and I would certainly come back for just that though I would love to try some of their other menu options. I also like that the seasonings on the table include basil and oregano alongside the usual as I've grown fond of using that to season my Italian dishes. If you're looking for a comfy restaurant that makes you think of an Italian family restaurant, Cafe Sitaly is definitely a good place to check out around Claymont.
First time at this establishment it's quant very clean and nice menu selection. They were top notch. We were greeted quickly and the waitress Maria offered outstanding customer service. She was super friendly and attentive even being the only server. Maria did not skip a heat kept our drinks refilled definitely an asset to the restaurant. Definitely recommend it you will not be at all disappointed.
A few of our friends really loved this place and we finally got around to trying it. I can see why they it! The food was amazing. The service was good, even though they were so busy. The atmosphere is that of a small cafe in Tuscany. We have visited twice in the weeks since our initial visit!
Best pizza in the area! Great Italian food, too. I like the variety of options in flavors. The establishment can be a bit chaotic as a sit-down experience, but take-out is a breeze. I recommend the Grandma pizza, garlic knots, and chicken marsala!
A really delicious restaurant tucked in the corner of Delaware. We knew it'd be good when we saw a line out the door. Ordered two simple dishes, and both were fantastic. Even the complimentary initial bread was some of the best bread we've even had. The waitresses were also some of the kindest we've ever had.
